Well, the holidays are over and our northern dancers have returned. Our first dance into the new year brought us guests from Ft. Lauderdale and the Kansas City area. These dancers were here to attend a Scooter Lee dance workshop at Siesta Bay. One guest, Sandra Balestracci, a dance choreographer from Ft. Lauderdale, submitted an article on the event to Carol Craven’s World Wide Newsletter, including their fun the previous evening at Club Country.

On February 12th, we will have a sweet treat, Ice Cream Sundaes, to celebrate the return of all our dancers to coincide with Valentines Day. Our picnic is set for Sunday, March 14th, at Lake Park in south Fort Myers. Joe O’Connor will again provide music for dancing. This picnic will be free for all members. Guest cost $15. If you are interested in attending this function, I ask that you submit your name to Les Smith by February 12th. Since this event is a freebie, you may find it easy to become a no show. Remember, that’s not fair to all who worked so hard to plan and stage this event. I’m sure you would not want this to happen to you.

Our next club meeting has been changed to Friday, March 26.
