Happy New Year Everyone!!!
Welcome to all our dancers and visitors who are returning to spend
their winter months with us, in sunny Florida.
Our club now has 100
members to date.
Our last dance of 2011, December 23rd, was the beginning of a festive
weekend. We provided snacks, cookies, punch and some dancing to
Christmas music. A surprise evening for everyone attending.
On January 13th, we will be having guest dance instructors and dancers
from the Scooter Lee workshop attending our dance. We have been
working on having one of the instructors provide us with a dance teach
for our members. Hopefully, that will work out. On February 17th
Aileen Howard has also arranged for guest choreographer Kathy Heller
to teach her new dance, You. Kathy will be attending the Jr. Willis
workshop that weekend.. We want to say “Thank You” to all dancers who
volunteered to teach this past year and to those who have offered to
assist us in the coming months. Our dance schedule is nowcomplete for
the next 2 months.
On January 27, 2012, Club Country will hold it’s next board meeting at
6:30 PM. at Riverside. We hope to see many of our members attend. We
will be discussing some events we have planned for in the coming
months, an ice cream social in February and our club picnic in March.
Our annual meeting date has been set for March 9, 2012.
