A Warm Welcome to all our returning northern dancers to Sunny
Florida. We hope to make your winter stay with us enjoyable, with fond
friendships and fun filled evenings of dancing. If by chance you have
dances you would like to share with us. Let us know what dance and when
you would be available to teach. Anyone who volunteers to teach receives a
free admission for that evening.
Club Country will hold it’s next Board Meeting on Friday, November 11,
2011, 6:30 P.M. at Riverside Community Center. To date our club has 93
paid members. All our board meetings are open to all members, giving you
an opportunity to voice your thoughts and ideas. If you wish to have an
item added to this meetings agenda, contact any officer before the
meeting. Remember, “This Is Your Club.”
Scheduled dance teaches will
follow meeting, with open dancing till 10:00 P.M.
As was listed in our October newsletter, our website has been updated
with various instructions of line dance and partner dance venues and
times. We do receive inquiring e-mails regarding our club and available
dance instructions. Unfortunately, for some individuals our listing are a
disappointment, for they include daytime hours. If you know of any
available evening line or partner lessons, please lets us know.
Our monthly dance schedule listing is now on line and a newsletter article
will be added to the site whenever necessary. We will also continue our
lines of communication to members, with our weekly
e-mails.
A note of interest, some of our line dance ladies will be missing from our
November 4th dance, as they will be attending a Line Dance Workshop in
Tampa. By the end of the weekend, they may have some sore feet and crowded
minds, but they may bring back some new line dance teaches for season.
